Addressing False Religion

In my last post addressing the Great Tribulation, I mentioned: False religion would be destroyed. What is false religion? Any doctrine that strays away from the truth of the word of God (any doctrine that misrepresents God). God word is His word and nothing is to be added to it or taken away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2). Here are some of the ways you can identify false religion: False religion supports for-profit ministries (Micah 3:11) (Matthew 10:8) , wars, politics, worship Jehovah in ways He doesn’t approve (Deuteronomy 12:4), man’s doctrine (Mark 7:7-8) (Hebrews 13:9), omits or misconstrues God’s word…
When we don’t choose to venture into the Bible for ourselves and read from beginning to end, we wouldn’t have the slightest idea how to identify anything–We just go with the flow (Galatians 4:8). But hasn’t it ever struck your mind: “Why are there a vast array of religions?” Different people have different beliefs, right? Pretty much most highways lead home, right? There are two roads spoken of in the Bible–Narrow and Broad (Matthew 7:13-14) Which one are you on? Which one do you desire to be on? There’s only one religion–The truth (John 17:20-21) The Gospel that Jesus preached was the truth. Jesus stated that the truth would set us free (John 8:31-32). Of course we’re familiar with the cliche: “And a lie will cause you to die”. Lies are the cause of death. Satan slithered His way into the garden in Genesis 3 where we were introduced to the lie that introduced us to sin and here we are today surrounded by nothing but lies, deceit, wickedness–Sin–> That’s the reason we die. False religion has mixed the ways of the world into the word. It doesn’t teach what it should. It misconstrues the word–It suppresses the truth! The truth has been traded for the lie (Romans 1:25). People are spiritually deficient!Yes, they attend fellowship service and Bible study, but they are spiritually deficient because they aren’t being taught the truth.
Who’s responsible for this? “Babylon The Great” (false religion)
In Matthew 24:4-5, Jesus warns the disciples to not be deceived. Are you awake?
Due to false religions, people believe that there’s an afterlife when we die and we can watch our loved ones from that afterlife or we’re reincarnated into human or animal form and exist once again (Ecclesiastes 9:5). If that is so, then why would we have a need for the Resurrection if we’re already living? False religion even teaches it’s the will of God for death to happen to our loved ones. In Genesis, God’s will was for us to live forever. In John 3:16, it shows us how Jehovah still wants us to live forever. Death is an enemy of God (1 Corinthians 15:26). Some religions teach of false gods and support serving Jehovah in ways He doesn’t approve people fall into this form of worship because they lack the knowledge (Hosea 4:6). We cannot rely on the excuse of false religion because each individual has to be judged for their accounts. In 2 Corinthians 6:14-17, we are warned to remove ourselves from amongst them. We’re also taught that being saved is believing in Jesus and voila–We’re saved! James 2:17, 2:26 allows us to know there’s more than confessing with our mouths and faith.
Just because mankind has practiced something for centuries doesn’t mean it’s right. The Bible is free and we have the choice to use it and remove the blindfold (2 Timothy 3:16-17). In Revelations 14:8 and 18:21–False religion will be destroyed.
Various roads doesn’t lead home. Become mindful. Tune in to the Bible–That’s your lifeline
